I ask these questions for you to take a step back and observe who are you saying yes & no to.
It is important to take note of this because so often it is easy to get caught up in life.
To run around for others without realizing that is what is draining your energy.
We may think that we're doing good for others by helping them with something that they ask us to do, without batting an eye.
However, if you zoom out, who are you really helping if your cup is not full first?
In this society, we have been taught that selfishness is a bad thing. But here's another perspective.
Why not look at taking the time to focus on you as ultimately the best thing you can do for others without compromising yourself in the process. You are only human after all.
How do you expect to keep saying yes to people and projects without tending to yourself first?
It is how you show up each day that matters. So when you can stand strong in your own, you can then freely give back to others without seeking anything in return.
Your alone time is your peace. You need to see yourself as the absolutely amazing soul that you are. After all, that's how God/Source sees you. There is no judgment, just love.
Take the time this week to notice who you're saying yes to. You are not obligated to do anything for anyone except yourself. There are people in this world that will constantly take from you until you are completely depleted with nothing left to give. Start practicing saying no to people, family & friends included. The people that are meant to stay in your life will. Love is not conditional and based on things that you do.
Another way to look at this is what are you committing yourself to? Your word is valuable and shapes the character that others see. Getting comfortable saying no helps you stick to deadlines & move forward in life. When you say yes to everyone and everything you are not honoring yourself.
And perhaps you do this because you are almost scared of being alone or not loved, appreciated, or valued. But dear Sunshine, you are loved, appreciated, and valued by your Angelic Family who is always around you to support you, if you just ask.
Make the decision today to choose you first! Reclaim back your time & your power. You do not need to look outside of yourself for the love you seek. That love is within you. Find time to fill up your cup with activities that uplift you. This could be taking a bike ride, walking in the park, listening to some music that wants to make you dance, or writing about something you’re passionate about.
You are exactly where you need to be, so be gentle with yourself. When you notice judgment showing up, reframe it and transform it into love.
You are such a beautiful soul & are so strong.
You are growing spiritually & well on your way to living a more balanced life.
